I have to take a hard-nosed conservative stance on this one. The Lt Col.
was doing her job of "Making Marines." She wanted them to be held at
the same standards as the men and put the pressure on them to do so. The
results show that they improved all around. If there are people
concerned with getting their feelings hurt then they shouldn't be in the
Corps in the first place. It's rough! If a female Marine is in a
fighting hole next to me I'd like to know that she can hold sh*t down as
well as any guy. This is the "PC bullshit" that my friends on the right
are always talking about, and I agree with them here. We need more
Marines like the Lt. Col. I think that they are punishing her in public,
but I guarantee you that there are a lot of people commending her in
